Police report two teen girls missing in Juarez, Mexico

Chihuahua state police seek leads
in missing teens' cases
JUAREZ - Chihuahua state police are seeking information on two teenage girls who were reported missing in Juarez since Nov. 18.
The missing girls were identified as Hortensia Iveth Roció Hernández Cuellar, 14, and Areli Rojas Romo, 17, who are from the Granjas de Chapultepec neighborhood.
Cuellar is 4-feet-9 inches tall, with straight shoulder-length bleached blonde hair, brown eyes and a tongue piercing. She was wearing blue jeans, a white top, white shoes and a blue jacket with brown lining.
Romo is 5-feet-3 inches tall, with straight shoulder-length brown hair and dark brown eyes. She was wearing blue jeans, a black top and black shoes.
Members of Nuestras Hijas de Regreso a Casa, a non-governmental organization, said other girls and young women have disappeared from Juarez but authorities have not reported their cases.
